Comprehensive Writing
Discussions on the potential dangers of tourists using cruise ships to travel in Northwest Passage of Canada.
Reading
Pros:
1. Ice bergs and sheets are not easy to detect and avoid, which is dangerous to tourists.
2. Soots emitted by engines will be left on ice, which is dangerous to local environment.
3. Too many tourists will cause annoyance to local residents.
Listening
Cons:
1. With research ships breaking the ice and helicopters exlporing the way, it is easy to avoid icebergs.
2. The pollution problem can be well resolved by using a new fuel that contains less sulfur and produces few soots.
3. It is mor appropriate to use small ships that can carry fewer tourists, and small er groups of tourits should be allowed to visit one community at one time, both of which can effectively reduce the annoyance to local residents and promote local economy as well.

Do you agree or disagree with the statement?
People in the past are more friendly than people today.
Discussions on the potential dangers of tourists using cruise ships to travel in Northwest Passage of Canada.
