解题思路：
1、Young people today are less dependent on their parents for making decisions than they were in the past.
拆分法 是托福独立写作解题的重要方法，也是最为基本的一种方法。此题通过对decisions 进行拆分，考生可以很快找到三个容易展开的理由：
1,在选择自己专业的时候，年轻人并不像以前的同龄人一样依赖于家长。
2, 在选择自己未来职业的时候，年轻人并不像以前的同龄人一样依赖于家长。
3,在选择休闲娱乐方式的时候，年轻人并不像以前的同龄人一样依赖于家长。
2、It is important for government to provide money for beautiful things and not just for practical things.
此次考试从话题而言，考生应该格外关注“教育类”和“政府类”话题，通过此题的练习，考生可以“举一反三”，熟悉“政府类“话题涉及的问题，如：环保问题、交通问题、经济问题、健康问题等等。此外，“让步转折结构” 是写作的常用结构，考生需要通过不断的强化练习，做到能够熟练使用。
1, 政府需要关注实际的问题：为解决就业问题，政府需要加大资金的投入。
2,政府需要关注实际的问题：建造图书馆，使大众有更多学习知识的场所。
3,让步转折段：美丽的东西效用不具有持久性，如画展，因此投入实际的东西，能够有效地利用政府的资金，即将纳税人的钱最合理地进行使用。

“三选一”题型 的准备在此次考试中考生需要格外重视。“三选一”题型最为忌讳通篇不提及另外两个没有选择的选项，同时考生一定要明确自己的观点，结构完整、思路清晰，因为这类题型具有不小的难度。
1,高中生需要学习个人理财，因为大学需要很多钱，自己赚学费更独立。
2,高中生需要学习个人理财，因为理财是一个核心技能，一生受用。
3,高中生在空暇时可以学习厨艺和修车，因为他们可以放松身心，缓解紧张的学习压力，但是学习理财也可以使学生彻底放松。
