We have been discussing the role of digitaltools in modern education. Social media platforms like YouTube, Instagram, andReddit are increasingly being used by students as learning resources - to watchtutorial videos, join study groups, and discover new ideas. Some educatorsargue that social media can be a valuable supplement to formal education, helping students engage with content more actively. Others, however, believethat social media is fundamentally too distracting and unreliable to be an effectivelearning tool. Do you think students should use social media as part of theirlearning process? Why or why not?

Some educators believe that digital toolsenhance student learning by providing interactive and engaging experiences.Others are concerned that too much technology in the classroom can bedistracting and may negatively impact learning outcomes. Do you think the useof technology in education is beneficial or harmful to students?
Kelly:
I believe that technology in education isbeneficial for students. It provides interactive learning experiences that canmake complex topics easier to understand. Additionally, digital tools can caterto various learning styles, making education more accessible.
Paul:
In my opinion, excessive use of technologyin the classroom can be harmful. it can distract students from their studiesand reduce face-to-face interactions with teachers and peers. A balancedapproach is necessary to ensure that technology enhances, rather than hinders, learning.

We've been discussing how different art forms affect people and communities.Consider these specific examples: protest songs that motivate peopleto join movements, murals that bring communities together, or movies thatchange how people think about important issues. Some people arguethat art creates change by making people aware of problems and motivatingthem to act. Others believe art simply shows what already exists insociety without actually changing anything. Which view do you agree with. Why?
真题5
DoctorAchebe:
This week, we will discuss different approaches to teaching children financialresponsibility, some parents give their children a weekly allowance to helpthem learn money management, while others believe it has no real benefit andmay lead to bad habits. Which approach do you think is better for a child'sdevelopment, and why? Please explain your reasoning.
Kelly:
I believe children should receive an allowance because it helps them put theirmath skills to use. By managing their own money, they learn how to budget, save, and make spending decisions. For example, if they want to buy somethingexpensive, they have to figure out how long it will take to save enough.
Paul:
I'm against giving children an allowance because it can create conflict withinfamilies, for instance, if a child learns their friends receive more money, itcould lead to resentment or arguments at home. Rather than fostering financialresponsibility, it might cause unnecessary friction.
